Ok, yes, it has been a long while since I have updated you on the Bunk Bed Chronicles, but alas, here it is...the long awaited, final chapter....mayabe...:
The Bunk Beds are finished! Yes, my very crafty husband has finished the kids beds. And, since Kensey is still relatively small, the Bunk Beds aren't "Bunk Beds" yet. We have them set up as two twin beds. They look fantastic.
All in all, it didn't take Josh that long to make the beds. Everyone loves them and he may even drum up a little side business with his talent. He has been told that he needs to advertise and sell these things.....he did do a fantastic job.
On a cute note, Kensey still gets excited and wants to show everyone her "new bed that Daddy made". She will also just randomly bust out with a big, "Thank you for my bed, Daddy" which is just too cute and melts your heart. The beds have been up for about a month and the "new" still has not worn off for her. And she is such a big girl and sleeps in her own bed very well. Both her and Kaiden love their beds....and even though we had to pay way too much for mattresses, it was all worth it. They look great, the kids love them, all is well :-)
Now, to find some adorable comforter sets....
